This novel seemed to be catered only to readers who watch the Anime or read Manga。 If someone has never read the Manga series or watched the show， then all references made in the story will be difficult for the reader to understand。Other than that， each chapter had different stories and I enjoyed reading them， especially the ones with Zenitsu stealing the spotlight in the middle。

This was a collection of short stories about some of the demon slayer members。 It was a quick read especially since there really wasn’t any fight scenes。 I would call these stories the “filler” that the manga didn’t include。 Also， I don’t think someone who hasn’t read the Demon Slayer manga would understand these stories。 You’re literally thrown into a moment between major moments of the main series。 It’s best to read the manga first！

The story about Aoi and Kanao was super cute， by far my favorite out of all the stories in here， followed closely by the first story about the flower of happiness。My problem？ Zenitsu。 I know that he's a very popular character in Japan， which is why the author focused him。。。unfortunately， I think he's completely obnoxious and I really wish the stories had focused on someone else （entirely） instead of being the main focus all but two stories。 The story about Aoi and Kanao was super cute， by far my favorite out of all the stories in here， followed closely by the first story about the flower of happiness。My problem？ Zenitsu。 I know that he's a very popular character in Japan， which is why the author focused him。。。unfortunately， I think he's completely obnoxious and I really wish the stories had focused on someone else （entirely） instead of being the main focus all but two stories。 。。。more
